MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle School's major objectives are to provide our students with skills for coping with everyday demands, to encourage them to respect differences among each other and to promote open communication between peers, teachers, and parents.
We also pursue stimulating decision-making skills, develop and utilize independent study skills, and recognize reading, writing, and computing as basics to success.
For interpersonal awareness, our program assists students to recognize themselves as beings with a vast range of opportunities to develop good citizenship skills and promote a shared responsibility among peers, teachers, and parents. Through tutoring strategies, students develop academic, social, aesthetic, emotional, and physical skills.
Finally, the Middle School program encourages students to become increasingly self-directed, moving from dependent childhood to self-actuating adolescence.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Provide opportunities for our students to develop creativity, team work, investigation curiosity, logical and critical thinking through the development of projects of their own interest.
Promote the student´s involvement in Nobel´s academic community exhibing universal values such as discipline, responsibility, honesty, respect, fairness and tolerance in the peruse of excellence.
Facilitate students with health knowledge to develop healthy habits to increase probabilities of healthy life and reduce future risks in life.
Increase the communication skills in terms of oral and written expression.

Provide opportunities for the student to develop skills and abilities such as creativity, teamwork, the spirit of investigation and logical thinking through projects.

Promote the integration of the student into an educational community by daily practicing values; such as discipline, responsibility, friendship, honesty, respect and tolerance, always in search of excellence.

Provide students with health knowledge that they can apply in daily life to promote healthy habits and behaviors and reduce unhealthy and increased risk behaviors.

Provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve literary instruction in terms of the language heard, spoken, read and written in the Spanish and English languages.
